Settling Into WoW Forever: A Multigamer’s First Notes from Azeroth

Most of my gaming years belonged to Destiny 2: weekly raids, build crafting, the whole ritual. Lately my evenings look different. Between extraction runs and Overwatch queues I kept hearing about WoW Forever, the Classic-style reset where everyone starts fresh at level 60, and curiosity finally won. This is my honest first-notes entry after settling in.

Why WoW Forever pulled me away from my rotation

What hooked me is the horizontal progression idea: no borrowed power to chase, no season pass anxiety, just classes, dungeons and raid tiers that reward playing well. Coming from shooters, where a patch can invalidate your muscle memory overnight, Azeroth feels refreshingly stable. I picked one main, learned its rotation on target dummies, and let the rest come naturally through questing.

How I am approaching the first weeks

My evenings are short, so during packed raid weeks I opened a wow forever boosting overview just to compare notes on pacing. I stole the habits and skipped the checkout: earlier positioning, clearer interrupt assignments, shorter sessions.

Learn the room first, the rotation second. Damage follows understanding.
